Conference «Food Structure and Functionality Conference – 15 years later»

Dear Sirs,

We are pleased to announce the launch of Food Structure and Functionality Conference – 15 years later, that will be held in Stare Jablonki, Poland on 23-26 June 2013.

The Food Structure & Functionality Conference will provide a venue for scientific discussion and exchange an information about the
- physicochemical techniques applied in structural analysis of food products,
- future trends with emphasis on microscope methods (3D -Computer tomography, hyperspectral imaging, etc.),
and/or
- how to design high quality food on the base of knowledge about the arrangement of various elements and their interactions.

The topics of the Conference are as follow:
- self assembled food structures,
- cellular structures in food – dry structures; wet structures, granular structures in food,
- engineering food emulsions and gels,
- future trends in microscopy of food

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Abstracts submitted to the Conference will be published in in Book of Abstract (Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences) that will be distributed to participants during the conference. Selected presentations of this conference will be printed as full paper after peer reviewing in a special issue of Food Research International (SCI-Expanded) and/or Polish Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences.
All information about the Converence and guidelines for preparation and submission of abstracts is available on the Converence website (www.foodstructure2013.pan.olsztyn.pl). Authors are requested to submit their abstracts online after registration (Sign in).
