10th International Bibilology Lectures “The book culture of Belarus of the 16th – middle of the 17th centuries: to the 440th anniversary of the Mamonichs’ publishing activities”

Topics of the conference:
The book culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the 16th – middle of the 17th centuries; Francisk Skoryna and his progenies; the Mamonichs’ printing house, the biggest private printing house in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania; Piotr Mstislavets and his books;the role of Piotr Mstislavets in the development of Belarusian art of the book.
Belarusian old printed books of the 16th – middle of the 17th centuries in Belarusian and foreign book depositories; artistic design of old printed books of the 16th – middle of the 17th centuries.

Working languages: Belarusian, Russian, Polish, English.

Participation requirements
To join the conference as a participant and lecturer, please register online not later than on 1st April, 2014, on the Internet portal of the National Library of Belarus www.nlb.by.  

Papers and reports:
We accept original papers having scientific and practical importance. It is planned to publish a collection of the conference papers. Papers to be published and read at the conference
are selected by the organizational committee. Please send your paper by e-mail attachment to kireeva@nlb.by not later than on 15 March, 2014.

Format requirements for papers:  
1. Author’s/coauthor’s full name, surname, patronymic (if any), name of organization, city, country; full name, surname, patronymic (if any) of a person who will read the paper at the Congress,   title of paper.
2. A paper including annotation in Russian and English, drawings and  addendums is up to 6 pages, format А4, Times New Roman, type size 13, 1.5 line spacing, file type DOC or RTF (Microsoft Word).
3. A reading list follows the main contents in alphabetical order.  References are in square brackets at the end of a phrase, for example [3, p. 15].
4. An annotation in Russian is up to 700 symbols (including spaces), an  annotation in English is up to 500 symbols (including spaces).
Meal, lodging and transportation expenses are paid by participants of the conference.
