Computer Sciences and Information Technologies 2009

The IV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Computer Sciences and Information Technologies” (CSIT’2009) will be held October 15th-17th, 2009 at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The organisers of the conference are Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies, IEEE MTT/ED/AP/CPMT/SSC West Ukraine Chapter.

The aim of the conference is to highlight and discuss the most important achievements in computer sciences and information technologies and to define prospects in their development. Authors of unique (original) papers from Ukraine and abroad are invited to take part in the conference. Plenary Sessions will be dedicated to the reports of the invited eminent scholars.

Conference Areas include but are not limited to the following:

Automated Control Systems

- Artificial Intelligence Systems;
- Modeling and Designing of Complex Objects and Processes in Control Systems;
- Computerized Technologies and Automated Control Systems;
- Methods and Techniques of Digital Signal Processing.

Mathematical and Software Support of Computer Systems

- Software Engineering & CASE;
- Algorithms, Automata and Logic;
- Parallel and Distributed Computing;

Information Systems and Networks

- Intellectual Information Systems;
- Informative Modeling;
- Database and Knowledge Systems;
- Distributed Information Systems and Networks.

Applied and Computer Linguistics

- Topical Issues of Communicative Linguistics and Translation;
- The Priorities of Modern Computer Linguistics and Natural Language Processing Technologies;
- Modern Tendencies of Domestic Lexicography.

Computer Aided Design

- Models, Methods and Tools for Computer Aided Design of Complex Objects and Systems;
- Methods and Tools for Computer Aided Design of Micro Electromechanical Systems;
- Mathematical Models of MEMS Manufacturing Technological Processes;
- Methods and Tools for Transport Technologies Automation.

The working languages of the Conference are Ukrainian and English. German is possible for Applied and Computer Linguistics section only.
