“CONTEMPORARY METHODS OF ENSURING EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY IN POWER GENERATION”

It is intended to consider the following questions at the conference:
- A systematic analysis of the present state of the fuel and power generation industries and the consequences of structural changes in them;
- problems of reliability in the electrical power generation and other of the above industries;
- the financial problems of power generation companies;
- the risks for reliability in the electrical power generation chain and the financial security of electrical power generation companies;
- methods and mechanisms for risk management in electrical power generation companies in the event of breaches of reliability in electricity supply;
- backup as a method of improving the reliability of electricity supply;
- market problems in system services;
- price formation problems in these industries;
- the search for ways of compromising in selecting efficient solutions;
- problems of the introduction of innovative technology in these industries;
- the utilization of multiple criteria selection and the theory of decision taking in conditions of risk and total uncertainty;
- insurance in power generation;
- tenders, procurements and the competitive placing of orders for these industries.
The participants in the conference may submit a report amounting to not more than 16 pages (40,000 characters)  for publication.
For the publication of a report (article), a brief annotation (22-3 lines) and key words must be compiled. The administrative fee:
• for the participation and the publication of the full report (article) is 3000 roubles.
• for the participation and report is 500 roubles (without publication).

The deadline for submission of materials for the digest is 25th April 2013

We would like to invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners, as well as students interested in these topics to participate in the conference and to present. We combine the academic presentation sessions with a social program that allows our guests to get to know each other, for example during the opening reception, coffee breaks, or the off-site excursion.
