1st International Scientific and Technical Conference "Scientific and Technical Progress in Ferrous Metallurgy - 2013"

On October 2 – 4, 2013 JSC Severstal and Cherepovets State University will hold 1st International Scientific and Technical Conference "Scientific and Technical Progress in Ferrous Metallurgy – 2013" in Torovo business center in Cherepovets, Vologda region.
The conference agenda will include review and discussions of the latest ferrous metallurgy developments in technology, equipment, control and automation over the last 5 years.
Conference Objectives:
1.Presentation of approaches in identification of trends and organization of scientific and research process.
2.Development of business and creative ties and establishing of new contacts between representatives of industry and science, metallurgists, equipment suppliers and consumers of metal products.
3.Presentation of the results of R&D activities jointly accomplished by scientists and JSC "Severstal" specialists.
4.Sharing of experience related to scientific and technological research and innovative developments in metallurgical production, carried out by specialists and scientists in Russia, neighboring countries and beyond.
5.Presentation of innovations and know-how in equipment, product mix, technology, control and automation, industrial safety at steel plants.
6.Presentation of engineering and technological trends in the development of ferrous metallurgy up to 2030.
