The XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Manned Space Flights”, dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Cosmonaut Training Center and cosmonaut troops will be held by State Organization “Yu. A. Gagarin Research&Test Cosmonaut Training Center (GCTC)”,  November, 10 – 12 2015 in Star City.

The Conference languages are Russian and English.
                                                                          
The purpose of the Conference is to evaluate the existing research and practical results of the creation and operation of manned spacecraft, cosmonaut selection and training process, in-flight activity of cosmonauts and their post-flight rehabilitation.


The Conference program provides for the following scientific topics:

Session 1. Issues and perspectives of development of manned spaceflight systems.
Session 2. Cosmonaut professional activities.
Sub-session 2.1. Cosmonaut activities (selection, training, spaceflight) and results of spaceflights.
Sub-session 2.2 Innovative information technologies in cosmonaut training.
Session 3. Applied and fundamental research and tests in space.
Session 4. Cosmonaut training facilities and simulation of spaceflight factors.
Sub-session 4.1. Cosmonaut training facilities.
Sub-session 4.2. Use of centrifuges for improving cosmonauts’ G-tolerance capabilities.
Sub-session 4.3. EVAs
Session 5. Medical and psychological aspects of cosmonauts’ selection and training, crews’ in-flight activities and post-flight rehabilitation.
Session 6.
Youth for the present and future of the human space exploration. Educational programs.

The Conference  scientific program provides for:

• Plenary session;
• Panel sessions;
• Postal session;
• Roundtable discussion “The present and the future of human space exploration”
• Exhibition “Human space exploration: Present and Future”
• Thematic meetings [with cosmonauts].

      Russian and foreign cosmonauts, astronauts, scientists, engineers, designers and experts in space-related fields are invited to take part in the Conference.

      A conference sourcebook will be published before the Conference begins.
