We invite researchers, teachers, young scientists, students of master's degree and doctorate (post-graduate programs) who study the issues of public-private partnership (PPP) and attracting investment, employees of local and сentral state authorities, quasi-public and international organizations to participate in the First International scientific and practical conference "Public-Private Partnership as a Mechanism for Attracting Investments: Models and Experience" which will be held on February 28, 2020 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
The conference program includes a discussion of the following issues:
1. New opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors and state
2. Achieving Sustainable Development Goals through Public Private Partnership
3. The impact of PPP on the socio-economic development of regions
4. People First PPP
5. The impact of PPP on entrepreneurship development
6. The extension of the scope of application of PPP mechanisms
7. Administrative procedures in the processes of PPP and concessions as a way to reduce corruption
8. Encourage the development of institutional PPP
9. The PPP impact on the investment climate of the country
10. Actual issues of the development of PPPs, including legal and regulatory issues
11. View and strategy of the state in the sphere of PPP
12. Modern financial instruments in PPP transactions financing
13. PPPs for sustainable urban development
14. The role of budget investments in achieving the strategic goals of the country and ways to increase their effectiveness
15. Sectoral application of the PPP mechanism: opportunities and barriers
16. Is there life after PPPs: created assets managment after the completion of PPP contract
17. PPP for sustainable development of small towns and villages
18. PPP and tariff regulation: Practices, instruments, lessons
19. Participation of the state and business in PPP projects: practices of non-financial participation
20. Role of international institutions in the development of local PPP projects
21. Public opinion in the development of infrastructure.
The work of the conference will be covered in the media, the conference will put forward a set of recommendations to the state authorities, the discussions and outcomes of the conference will be compiled in a publication.
