2nd Scientific and practical conference of Russian and Croatian scientists

On October 8-9, 2020, Croatia will host the second Scientific and practical conference of scientists from Russia and Croatia (hereinafter referred to as the Conference), which is held within the framework of the intergovernmental Russian – Croatian Commission on economic and scientific and technical cooperation (minutes of the 1st meeting of the Russian-Croatian Working group on scientific and technical cooperation dated November 29, 2018). The conference is supported by the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of science and education of the Republic of Croatia.

In October 2019, the first scientific and practical conference was held in Moscow on the basis of nust MISIS, which brought together about 200 specialists.

The main topics of the Conference: Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Alternative energy sources, Energy, Information and communication technologies.

Main goals of the Conference:
- Organization of meetings between Russian and Croatian scientists, engineers and specialists in priority fields of science for a thorough discussion of modern trends of development of science and technology, improve the level of information exchange when carrying out applied scientific research and experimental development aimed at creating products and technologies for the modernization of the economy and by the development priorities in science and technology of Croatia and the Russian Federation.
- Creating a positive image of Russian science and informing potential investors about the results of research and development in priority areas of science, technology and engineering;
- Organization of a platform for the exchange of scientific experience, discussion of current scientific issues and promising areas of research, familiarization of participants with advanced research methods and technologies, establishment of scientific contacts;
- Expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Russian and Croatian scientists and specialists.
